Greetings Chapter Members, Fellows and Sponsors,
Recently, our chapter was again recognized at ACHE Congress for Sustained Achievement. Congratulations was extended at the MacEachern Luncheon at Congress to CTAHE for being one of 16 chapters for the 2022 Award of Chapter Merit and Sustained Performance. These awards are recognition of the hard work of our Board, Chapter Chair leaders and the many volunteers who help make our chapter a continued success.
We also held the first Inter-Chapter Congress Dinner with CTAHE, ACHE of Massachusetts, Northern New England Association of Healthcare Executives, and ACHE – Rhode Island Chapter at Hugo’s Frog Bar and Fish House. A special thank you to Everett Cunningham and Alex Ofer from Exact Sciences for sponsoring the event (and a kudos to our Rob Weiss for his pivotal role in organizing the event!) It was a great time, a delicious meal and all-around huge success.
Our chapter had over 40 Connecticut representatives at Congress and we had a special event each night. It was a week of tremendous fun catching up with colleagues, going out for casual laughs and discussing the many challenges facing healthcare today.
We also recognized 14 new fellows to the chapter as previous mentioned in the Regent’s newsletter. Once again they are:
- Alexandria Ofer, FACHE
- Andrew Lovig, FACHE
- Ashwin R. Pamudurthy, FACHE
- Austin B. Potter, FACHE
- Connie M. Hilbert, FACHE
- Darius Erami, FACHE
- Diana J. Tannous, FACHE
- Elaine G. Whitney, FACHE
- Karen L. Butterworth-Erban, RN, FACHE
- Kevin M. Ferrarotti, FACHE
- Lewis L. Goodrum, FACHE
- Linda B. Versea, FACHE
- Ritu G. Jain, FACHE
- Vivian S. Argento, MD, FACHE
Please congratulate them if you know or see them on this momentous accomplishment.
We are only a few short weeks away from our 8th Annual Golf Tourney on Tuesday, May 23rd. So far participation has been great and we are almost sold out. Please join us for another day of fun on a beautiful course with great food and prizes. Sign up before it’s too late!
Please continue to check out our website for more events. We plan to have an educational event before the CHA annual meeting this year on June 15th at the Aqua Turf in Southington. The details are still being planned, but it should turn out to be another fabulous event. Mark your calendars.
CTAHE has some excellent upcoming events, make sure to visit the website to learn more:

We are so thankful to have the support of our new chapter Administrator – Kirsten L. Singleton. If you have any questions on events, how to become more involved, or any questions in general please feel free to reach out to her at administrator@ctahe.org.
Lastly, a lot of our ability to offer these educational and fun events are a result of the support of our Sponsors. We have many golf sponsors who will be recognized at the event. However I would also like to recognize our Chapter Sponsor’s for their support of CTAHE:

Never underestimate the value of networking.
Warm Regards,
Mike
